... DONE!
YAY!
On to Week 2. I'm hitting it either Friday or Saturday, and I need to get a good strength training session in before Sunday, too.
I feel really good about this C25k program. Although today I realized that the 5k I had in mind would require me to go through the program without repeating any weeks, so that might not work out. I'm trying not to let that get me down.
Let's focus on this ... I finished week 1. Hooray!

i enjoyed the C25K program but i was also training for an actual 5K so i was pretty tired of running by the time june rolled around... i still jog but maybe 2-3 week, if that - got kinda boring esp. on the treadmill... keep it up and soon you'll be doing 3 miles w/out knowing it! :o)
Yay!!!!
Thanks Abi!
Yeah, Jodi, I'm aiming for an actual 5k, too ... I was considering one towards the beginning of April, but now I'm leaning towards one at the end. We'll see how it goes. The beginning might be pushing it. (Heck, the end of April might be pushing it!)
Anyway, I could see it becoming dull after months and months and months. But I really want to at least be able to run 5k. After that, I don't know that I'll become someone enamored with running, but I'll have done it and can move on to the next goal, whatever it may be.
And being able to run will serve me well given I travel so much. It'll be nice to have a cardio thang I can do without equipment ... just shoes and I'm good to go! (OK, well, clothes too. But even so ...).
I'm with the other Yay!!! That's very cool. I once trained and ran a 5k (In my skinnier days) and it is such a wonderful high.

You're doing great! Well done!
Wow, good job. I remember how great I felt when I was doing it. Keep it up. Don't do what I did and stop after week 3! I wish I never stopped. I'd be running 5K right now!
