Stop toying with me.

The scale is messing with my head. Look at that weight over there in the sidebar! Look at it. 140.0 lbs again. I'm so close to the 130's I can taste it!

I know that once I hit 139.x I'll jump up into the 140's a few times (with the daily weighings the scale goes up and down), but I'd so like to see that 13x.x number. I know I'm getting close to my goal, but seeing a 13x.x number would make me feel even closer.

Although, I was looking at my old weight info from when I was at goal, and I realized that even though in theory my goal is 135, I liked the way my clothes fit when I was at 132-133. I'll see how I feel when I get to 135; I may have a little further to go than I thought.

Even so, I'm getting there.

Come on, 130's!

I may pare down this list later, but for now the more the merrier. Oh, and feel free to link to me off your site, too. I've really enjoyed connecting with everyone. I've been floored by how supportive the blogger community has been to me and to each other. It has truly made me feel like I'm not in it alone. You guys are amazing.

I hate being on the brink of breaking into the next 10lb increment. it seems so close, yet so far away. I toyed with the 140's for soooo long I would get there, and then I would jump back up, never could seem to stay there, I'm really hoping to get there soon!

The anticipation for that lower number can be torture. When I tried losing weight the first time, I got down to 201... I was so looking forward to breaking the 200 barrier. Alas, I plateaued, got discouraged, and gave up for a time. Shame on me.

You'll get there soon enough... but doesn't the difference between 140 and 139 seem greater than others in the 140s?

lora! I would never forget you! You're on there ... I remember seeing your blog over the weekend, so I suspect I added you but didn't save. I apologize for any heartache I caused. ;-)

I agree with all three of you. What is it with the 0-ended numbers? They are out to mess with our brains, and somehow the difference between 139 and 140 *is* greater than 144 and 145. It seems like math has different rules when it comes to weight loss, right?

We have the same goal weight. I would LOVE to weigh 130, but my sister calls me anoerexic when I drop below 135.

By the way - I LOVE Six Feet under, too. The season finale - the very last episode is so freakin' amazing! You must check out Big Love and then Weeds!
